Playful gatines

Hi everyone! Today I want to share my new artwork with you all. It is called “Playful gatines”.

In case you are wondering, “gatines” (kittens) is a very typical word we use in León, the area where I am from.

This piece is inspired by four real sibling kittens and their different coats and patterns. Let me introduce you to the gang:

  • Tina: She is a female tabby cat, and she is the darkest one of the bunch.
  • Nino: He is a male tabby, but his pattern is full of rounded spots.
  • Nuno: He is also a male tabby, but he has very well-formed, classic stripes.
  • Blanca Marie de Narnia: A female cat with a beautiful flame-pointed coat. She looks a bit like a Siamese, but with yellow-orange tones. She has slight little stripes in the yellow areas, while the rest of her body is a creamy white color.

I drew them all by hand. The drawing shows the four of them playing all at the same time, acting just like crazy little kittens do.
