Finally we got to hang this large map over the couch!

Details: for my own living room I chose something quite neutral. I’m going for a scandinavian+bohemian look, with lots of white, gray and wood. So my map is a three panel, highly detailed world map, with countries, states, cities and capitals, in gray watercolor and white background. I printed the map in my archival paper and then I purchased white wood poster frames from Amazon.

Size: mine are three panels, of 24×36″ each. Add another inch for the frame and then almost 2 more inches for the gap… so… mine measures approximately 82×38 inches. It fits perfectly above the couch. A couch that needs to be covered with an anti-cat upholstery fabric because Miu’s claws get hooked on everything. Always. Miu is this tortoiseshell beauty:
